Self-induced happiness?!??

There’s an idea ingrained in our modern society that nothing worthwhile in this life comes without sacrifice and that the harder you try the bigger your reward will be.
So you put in more effort.
You make compromises you never thought you could ever make.
You tell yourself that it’s your duty to try harder and harder in order to be happy.
Except … it feels like you’re running and running and getting nowhere. In fact, you’re ending up feeling exhausted and frustrated.

That’s the moment when doubt starts sneaking in … the moment when you question every little detail and you wonder if you’re ever going to cross the finish line or if it’s even worth the effort. And then … at some point you feel like giving up. It's tough when life pushes you to the edge and you wonder if you might enjoy the fall … it’s even tougher when disappointment and fear cloud your mind.

Don't you ever feel like you go, go, go, but don’t quite get anywhere?
